With the support of the Refugee Council and the Evelyn Oldfield Unit, the Afghan Association organises regular training and development workshops to enhance organisational management skills. 

The management committee of the Afghan Association attended a fund raising workshop which was organised with the support of refugee council.  

We recently held a conference for the Afghan Police and National Army Delegation from the Helmand province of Afghanistan who were on an official visit to the UK. They spoke to the members of the afghan community in London informing them of the current security situation in Afghanistan.  

At this event the local police commander, a representative of the Harrow Council and a representative of the MoD were also invited to participate.  The delegation from Afghanistan explained the current situation in the Helmand and also took questions from the audience.
